It’s finally here — one of the most anticipated features in Postcodeheatmap: Marker Layers! This powerful update lets you visualise multiple datasets on a single map, making it easier than ever to compare and analyze complex data.
🔍 Visualise More, Side-by-Side
With Marker Layers, you can now overlay different types of data on the same map using three visualisation styles:
- Individual markers – show every data point distinctly
- Clustered markers – group nearby points for cleaner views
- Bubble markers – represent magnitude or value visually
This makes it perfect for comparing things like:
- Last month’s vs. this month’s sales
- Store locations vs. customer hotspots
- Service areas vs. support tickets
🛠️ How It Works
To add a Marker Layer:
- In the left-hand sidebar, click “Add Marker Layer.”
- Fill in the required fields to configure your data.
- That’s it — your new layer will appear on the map.
- Need more layers? Add as many as you like — there’s no limit.
Each layer can use a different spreadsheet, giving you maximum flexibility when layering data from multiple sources.
